Samidori Kun is specially created for matcha lattes.
The taste profile of Samidori Kun is really unique; it tastes savoury at first touch, followed by a light roasty undertone and with a full-bodied umami fragrance.
It manages to maintain the umami flavour profile of matcha, while still incorporating some elements of roasted notes (which is getting popular these days).
After countless times of us tasting this, all I can say is that it’s really unforgettable! That savoury taste is really yummy, and it shines through strongly even with Oatmilk and dairy milk.
This is a single cultivar, 100% hand picked matcha powder from a multi centuries old award winning farm in Uji, that’s grown using the Shizen Jitate method (grown naturally upwards without artificially shaping it for machine harvesting) and shaded for 40 days. Yes, it’s really good stuff.
